📈 Bellingham ends UCL goal drought on critical European night

Must read

Jude Bellingham has been the toast of the town across Europe since his meteoric rise at Borussia Dortmund before taking the world by storm at Real Madrid.

But a recent goal drought for the Spanish giants prompted murmurings surrounding the influential midfielder across his performances in the Champions League.

That has been put to bed, at least for now, after the England star netted against Atalanta on a critical night for Real Madrid with a brilliant second-half solo effort, who have hardly been at the races in Europe’s top competition.

His goal ended a 13-match goalless run in the competition dating back to last season, but despite that, his overall goal contributions in the competition (22) put him in high standing for his tender age.

Perhaps for the time being, he is back in everyone’s good graces.
