Inter Miami’s Supporters Shield celebrations will be further delayed as NYCFC rescued a draw against the Herons at the death in front a packed Yankee Stadium.
Miami looked to have snatched all three points when Leo Campana came off the bench to score in the final 15 minutes, but their efforts undone in stoppage time when James Sands nabbed a goal from a corner-kick to rescue a late point.
We all know Miami will go on to win the Supporters Shield, but the champagne will have to stay on ice for now!
Meanwhile for NYCFC, remain in the top-seven but they will have to make up some ground to earn a home playoff game.
