Leicester 0-1 Manchester City
Scorers: Savinho 21′, Haaland 74′
Pep Guardiola’s side travelled to the King Power Stadium looking to stop their record of just one win in 13 games.
There was a huge let-off for City on 18 minutes as Jamie Vardy sneaked in but saw his shot hit the side-netting.
But it was City who broke the deadlock just moments later as Savinho was quickest to a loose ball and fired home.
Leicester weren’t deterred though and almost equalised as Facundo Buonanotte hit the post with a header.
Into the second half and once again Van Nistelrooy’s side were looking dangerous in attack as Stephy Mavididi fired over.
James Justin then thought he had bagged an equaliser, only for his close-range effort to be cleared off the line by Manuel Akanji.
Vardy had the best chance of the lot however, as he got too much contact on the ball and shot over from just five yards out.
But against the run of play City got a second as Haaland headed in after a fine cross from Savinho.
Tottenham 2-1 Wolves
Scorers: Bentancur 11′, Johnson 45+3′; Hwang 7′
Spurs hosted Wolves with Vitor Pereira’s side having turned things around since the Portuguese coach’s arrival pre-Christmas.
That New Manager Bounce kept on going early on as Hwang fired in the opener on his first start since August.
That lead didn’t last long as Rodrigo Bentancur headed in from a corner.
Ange Postecoglou’s side had the chance to take the lead just before the break but Heung-min Son’s penalty was saved by Jose Sa.
Right before half time however, Spurs went into the lead as Brennan Johnson finished after great work from Dejan Kulusevski.
Everton 0-1 Nottingham Forest
Scorers: Wood 15′
Nottingham Forest went to Merseyside with Nuno’s men knowing that three points could take them into second place in the table.
It was a slow start at Goodison but things livened up on 15 minutes as Anthony Elanga and Chris Wood teamed up for the New Zealand international to finish.
Fulham 1-0 Bournemouth
Scorers: Raúl Jimenez 41′
In-form Bournemouth went to west London looking for a win that would take them above Newcastle and into fifth place.
It was the away side who broke the deadlock on the half hour mark by James Hill’s header was ruled out for a foul.
Right before the break however it was Fulham who took the lead as Raul Jimenez headed home.
Crystal Palace 2-1 Southampton
Scorers: Chalobah 30′, Eze 52′; Dibing 15′
Ivan Jurić’s Saints side were stranded at the bottom of the Premier League on just six points as they went the short trip to south London.
After a lively start it was the away side who took the lead as Tyler Dibling found the back of the net on his return to the XI.
Palace got themselves back in it on the half hour mark as Trevoh Chalobah tapped in after Aaron Ramsdale was beaten to the ball at a corner.
The hosts really should have taken the lead just before the break though, as Daniel Muñoz failed to score from just three yards out.
After the break Palace netted almost immediately as Eberechi Eze fired in from the edge of the area.
