Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has been awarded England men’s Player of the Year award.
The accolade comes despite being left on the bench for all five of England’s games at EURO 2024.
Despite playing just 146 minutes at the tournament, Palmer scored one goal and provided one assist, and was subject to calls from many to be handed more playing time.
The 22-year-old has six goals and five assists in just seven Premier League appearances for Chelsea, including four goals in one match against Brighton.
