Kylian Mbappé has been ruled out of action with a hamstring injury, Real Madrid have confirmed.
The striker netted again in his side’s 3-2 win over Alavés on Tuesday night but the victory came at a cost for the Frenchman.
Following tests on Wednesday, he has been diagnosed with a problem in his left hamstring which the Athletic report will rule him out for three weeks.
That means he will miss the upcoming derby against Atlético de Madrid.
Mbappé is also set to be sidelined for fixtures against Lille and Villarreal and is unlikely to return until after the international break against Celta.
