Tottenham have confirmed Djed Spence has signed a new contract with the club, which will run until 2028.
The right-back joined the North London club from Middlesbrough for a reported £20m, but made just six appearances for the club in his first two seasons, spending time on loan at Rennes, Leeds and Genoa.
However, he has made four appearances to date this season, having worked his way back into Ange Postecoglou’s plans, and scored his first goal for the club against Coventry in the EFL Cup.
The 24-year-old will now hope to kick on, and challenge Pedro Porro for a spot in the starting XI.
