🤯 Palmer makes Chelsea history with second-half penalties vs Tottenham

Must read

Chelsea star Cole Palmer continues to cement his place as one of the most gifted young players in world football after making his way on the scoresheet once again.

After going 2-0 down early away at Tottenham, the Blues have since battled back to pull level at two-all, with Palmer levelling matters from the penalty spot in typical fashion.

And while many rival fans will have a go at the 22-year-old England international given how many goals he has bagged from just 12 yards out, goals remain currency and there are few better than him.

With his effort from the spot this evening, Palmer not only became the new club record holder for most Premier League goal involvements in a calendar year, he also pulled level with Yaya Touré with the joint-most converted penalties in PL history without missing before adding a second to move clear of the Ivorian.

His effort then led to Enzo Fernandez’s goal to complete the turnaround, and leave Chelsea on course for another three points.

Cold, calm, and calculated.
