2 suspects at large after suspicious death on White Bear First Nation

RCMP say two men charged in relation to the death of Talon Lonethunder on Whitebear First Nation are on the run.

Police responded to a call on the First Nation early Tuesday morning and found 33-year-old Talon Lonethunder dead in a home. Whitebear First Nation is about 185 kilometres southeast of Regina.

Jeremy Whitebear, 22, is charged with second-degree murder. Whitebear is described as about 5’10” and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He also has several tattoos, including the word “faded” on his forehead.

Dwanye Maxie, 26, is charged with manslaughter. He’s described as 6’2″ and about 250 pounds. He also has brown eyes and black hair.

Both men are from Whitebear First Nation and there are warrants out for their arrests, according to police.

RCMP are asking anyone with information on the men’s location to call 310-RCMP or anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
