Ashlynn Mercer was named KCAC Pitcher of the Week. Mercer, a senior from Tonkawa, Okla., had a record of 1-1, a 1.50 ERA, and 16 strike outs in 14 innings pitched last week. Opponents had a .184 batting average against her. Mercer had a career high 11 strike outs in OU’s 4-3 victory over KWU last Saturday.
