Bryant’s Contract Purchased by the Milwaukee Brewers, Assigned to ACL Brewers – Ottawa University

OTTAWA, Kan. – Former Ottawa University baseball player, Tyler Bryant, is fulfilling a childhood dream. He had his contract purchased by the Milwaukee Brewers from the Quebec Capitales of the Frontier League on June 13. Bryant has been assigned to the ACL Brewers.

The ACL Brewers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Arizona Complex League and a Rookie-level affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Phoenix, Ariz., and play home games at American Family Fields of Phoenix.

Bryant will wear no. 51 for the ACL Brewers. He was a two-time NAIA All-American, earning First Team honors in 2023. Bryant was the first OU baseball player named First Team NAIA All-American and the first to twice be named KCAC Pitcher of the Year. In 2023, he was ranked first in the NAIA in ERA (1.60). In his two seasons as a Brave, Bryant had a 2.17 ERA and a record of 16-2. In 26 appearances, he pitched six complete games, had three shutouts, and struck out 203 in 157.2 innings. He is ranked first in the OU career book in ERA (2.17), tied for fourth in victories (16), and is tied for sixth in single-game strike outs with 12.
