Kansas City, Mo. – Three Ottawa University men’s lacrosse players have been named to the All-American team the NAIA office announced on Friday morning. Junior Vincent DeMarco, Senior Jacob Vincentini, and Sophomore Gavin Nelson earned All-American honors.
Vincent DeMarco, a junior from Fenton, Mo. was a third-team selection. DeMarco started in all 14 games, scored 49 goals, and made 35 assists.
Gavin Nelson, a sophomore from Olathe, Kan. was a third-team selection. Nelson started in all 14 games, scored one goal, made three assists, had 33 groundballs, and caused 14 turnovers.
Jacob Vincenini, a senior from Omaha, Neb. was a third-team selection. Vincentini started all 14 games, scored three goals, made two assists, and had a faceoff percentage of .640 (210-328).
