Blackpool have announced the appointment of former Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce.
The news comes after the Seasiders sacked Neil Critchley after back-to-back defeats in the opening two games of the season.
Bruce has been away from football since being fired by West Bromwich Albion after he took them from sixth place in the Championship to 22nd in eight months, their lowest position in English football for more than two decades.
The former Manchester United defender was also a high profile sacking at Newcastle before the appointment of Eddie Howe with only a 27.4% win percentage from 84 league games.
