The Dutch led 53-49 after three quarters at Bercy Arena.
Canada beat Germany 71-53 in the quarterfinals. If they get past the Dutch, the Canadians will face the U.S. in the gold-medal game. Otherwise, China awaits in the bronze-medal contest.
The Canadian women have not reached the Paralympic podium since 2004, when a bronze medal in Athens ended a run of three straight golds.
Meanwhile, the men’s team will face Germany in Saturday’s bronze-medal game.
