Captain Kiril Despodov was the one who put Bulgaria ahead just before the break after arriving late inside the box and converting a simple finish.
A sloppy pass from Northern Ireland goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell handed the hosts the opportunity to strike.
Denmark v Serbia

Some big European names are in action in Denmark host Serbia. Both sides look to maintain their place above EURO 2024 winners Spain in the group.
After impressing last time out, Albert Grønbæk scored his first goal for the national team with a strong run and finish inside the box.
A long VAR check threatened to take it away due to offside but the goal stood.
