No conversation about football managers is complete without the name of Jose Mourinho.
Coming from simple beginnings, the coach went on to coach Porto, Benfica, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and even Roma, thus creating one of the most impressive CV’s in the history of the game.
Of all his stints, however, his time in the Spanish capital is remembered very fondly for the special fight his team put up against a generational Barcelona side.
Speaking to the media earlier this week, legendary Real Madrid manager and current Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho spoke on the team’s talented youngster Arda Guler who has impressed time and time again with the Turkish national team.
“Character is very important to play for Real Madrid, and Arda Guler shows this huge personality. Top quality,” he said.
Commenting on Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, the ‘special one’ did not hold back on showering praise and explaining how he would take Guler to great levels.
“Ancelotti is a great coach to learn with. Arda is heading into a fantastic future,” added the iconic Portuguese manager.
The former manager then went on to talk about Real Madrid’s transfer policy in recent years and how it has centred around young talents.
“The biggest club in the world can only have the best players in the world. Real Madrid is doing an amazing job at getting the best young players in the world,” Mourinho further stated.
Finally, he elaborated on the various talents in the squad and how the team looked destined for greatness.
“They got Vinicius and Rodrygo as kids, they got Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler at a young age, now Endrick,” he concluded.
