WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. and Mexico have resolved a Rapid Response Mechanism petition under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement alleging workers’ rights were denied at Chinese-owned manufacturer Impro Precision Industries, the U.S. said on Tuesday.

The U.S. Labor Department and U.S. Trade Representative said Mexico facilitated a resolution with Impro Industries Mexico to remediate workers’ claims at its San Luis Potosi facility by posting neutrality statements, creating company guidelines on freedom of association and collective bargaining and providing training to workers.
