How to watch Presidents Cup

This week the Presidents Cup heads to Royal Montreal for the 15th playing of the event that pits 12 American pros against the 12 best International pros from outside of Europe.

The U.S. holds a dominant 12-1-1 record in the competition, which is played in alternate years to the Ryder Cup, including a big 17.5-12.5 win over the International side in 2022 at Quail Hollow on American soil.

But now the Internationals will be the home team, and they’ll be led by Canadian pro Mike Weir, who won the 2003 Masters to become the only Canadian to win a men’s major. The U.S. team features captain Jim Furyk at the helm.

As with the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup will feature a series four-ball and foursomes matches pitting two U.S. players against International players, followed by a final round on Sunday featuring 12 singles matches.

Unlike the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup is contested across four days, Thursday-Sunday, instead of three.

Fans watching the action from home will have extensive viewing options on TV and additional options online. NBC and Golf Channel will handle the Presidents Cup TV broadcasts, and streaming options will be available via Peacock.
