Fresh off his Pop-up Series sweep, All Gas No Brakes (Uncle Peter) kept the pedal down for a fourth straight harness racing victory and a new career mark at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday (Sep. 23).
James MacDonald, in one of his three wins on the night, pushed the gelding to take the lead at the quarter in :27.3, and his reign went uncontested through :56.3 and 1:25.1 middle fractions. Pocket-sitter Nasey (Bob McClure) took his best shot down the stretch, but All Gas No Brakes revved up and pulled away to a three-length victory in a lifetime-best 1:53.2. Nasey was second over Bella Cavalla (Trevor Henry).
