Montreal police want help to find missing 11-year-old girl

Montreal police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 11-year-old girl.

Jahan Mamun was last seen on Sunday at around 6:30 p.m. near the corner of Bélanger and François-Boivin streets in the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough.

She is said to be hanging with the wrong crowd and her loved ones are worried for her safety.

Police describe Jahan as white, but with a dark complexion. She is about four feet and three inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair. She speaks French.

She is believed to be wearing a short grey shirt that exposes the navel, grey pants and black shoes.
