A 32-year-old is facing 12 charges after a deadly car crash on Highway 11.
RCMP say they were notified on Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. CST that a truck and an SUV had crashed into each other about one kilometre north of Dundurn, Sask., about 35 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon.
Police say the truck was travelling on the wrong side of the highway, northbound in the southbound lane.
The two women in the SUV, ages 50 and 20, were declared dead at the scene. They were from Lake Isle, Alta., and their families have been notified, according to RCMP.
The driver of the truck, 32-year-old Brittany Barry from the RM of Blucher, reported no injuries to police. Two children in the vehicles with her were sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Barry was arrested at the scene and the highway was closed for about six hours for investigation.
Barry is charged with: two counts of driving while impaired causing death, two counts of driving impaired causing bodily harm, two counts of dangerous driving causing death, two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm, two counts of criminal negligence causing death and two counts of criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
Barry was scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday.
RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
