What about the Carolina Panthers?

Because I’m sitting here trying to figure out in fairness.

Bryce Young has failed.

Bryce Young is a failure at this point with Carolina Panthers, but there were plenty of teams that were interested in Bryce Young.

Should he have fallen to them?

At the top of the, there were teams two years ago that believed in him.

Come on, you don’t, come on.

You don’t think he’s starting this week for a reason.

So he gets reinserted, right?

And I thought he played solidly.

He had some bad moments.

He had some bad moments, ok?

He had some bad moments, but he also had some moments where he made some throws where I made this throw uh to Jalen Coker down the left sideline and I think it was on 3rd and 14 critical down, right?

Like pressure situation.

Perfect pa I mean, it was beautiful.

I mean, it was an unbelievable throw, uh converts the first down.

And I’m like, that’s that dude like that’s the guy and that’s, you know, people who are Bryce young believers going into that and it was pretty much everybody looks at a throw like that and goes.

Oh yeah, that’s right when this guy is confident and he’s protected, uh, he can make these throws where you’re like, whoa OK. Pressure situation.

Put it, you know, through a dime into a spot.

Um I think there is a reason why Dave Canalis refused to say, did not come out and say we’re not trading the guy and then is all, they’re also starting him this week.

I think there’s, um, a showcase of, ok, you saw him reinserted his not mush.

He, he stood up a little when he got put back in there, he looks like he made a little bit of progress.

Now, let’s see if he can build it.

Now, if he does it from one week to the next, you could have some teams out there that go.

Ok, well, you know what, this quarterback class is not great.

It really isn’t.

Um, and there’s still enough to work with this guy.

Let’s say Bryce plays well better like he’s playing the Saints defense.

That isn’t that good.

Right.

Let’s say he plays better than last week.

He’s not gonna throw for 500 yards or anything like that.

I don’t think anybody expects that, but let’s say he plays better where you’re like, oh Bryce Young, wow, he’s really progressed.

What could you get at that point for him at that point?

Wouldn’t it be worth the Panthers just saying, maybe he is progressing.

Maybe all these picks we give up for him, but I, I just don’t, I don’t agree with the theory of trading for pennies on the dollar because what good does that do you, at the end of the day, I would not throw a fit if someone really, truly desperate and had, but had the right situation set up for him.

Gave up a second round pick and said, ok, we’re going to bring him in.

We’re gonna give him the opportunity.

We’re gonna tell our quarterbacks it’s an open race, whoever takes, it takes it and you give them months to really prepare for the reboot.
