First half was a snoozer.
Second half was delightful.
We get, you know, dramatic ending.
The Ravens beat the Bengals 3534.
See Rob, can we stick a fork in Cincinnati offensively, even without T Higgins, you have an opportunity to win that game.
You go for two, you don’t get it.
I I didn’t like that.
Burrow didn’t say anything to the officials when he got hit in the face.
Um, on that two point conversion, I didn’t like that.
There was clearly defensive holding um prior to the pass being thrown on the two point conversion.
I know it was away from where Burrough was, was going with the ball.
But one thing I did enjoy was Al Michael straight up said too many games are ending like this and he’s right like that was a ridiculous moment.
You can’t, I know people are gonna say, oh, it wasn’t that bad.
It wasn’t that egregious, whatever.
It, it doesn’t matter.
The rules are the rules.
It was literally a play that determined the outcome of the game and you had, you know, hands to the face or hands to the head of the quarterback and you had defensive holding on the exact same play, neither gets called and it, and it shifts, at least it shifts the possibility that the end of that game, um, could have ended.
I, I think for burrough it has to be frustrating that you are as potent as you are offensively.
You’re not catching breaks with calls when the game is on the line and then your defense is just straight up.
Awful.
I, I don’t know, I don’t know how the Bengals are gonna fix this defensively.
Maybe they should have actually added at the deadline.
Um, but I guess you hope t Higgins comes back and you could score 40 a game and maybe try to reel off enough wins.
Joe Burrow in two games against the Ravens this year has nine touchdowns, I believe, no interceptions and he’s, oh, and two against the Ravens.
Like, what are we doing here?
I wonder what has really happened to Lou Anna Romo’s defense.
Like, I remember a few years ago we were like, this guy’s gonna get, had a coaching job.
He’s a mastermind.
We talked about him like we’re talking about Spagnolo now and it is just gone.
Like the Bengals defense, they did play well in the first half, I’ll give him that and then the second half, they just fell apart again.
I think we gotta talk about the calls.
We’re talking about a two point conversion that’s gonna go for the two yard line to the one yard line, like that’s even better than a 5050 play that if those calls are made, the Bengals probably win that game.
