The Seahawks beat the 49ers 20 to 17 today, which means the Seahawks Rams and 49 Ers are all five and five.
The Cardinals are six and four.
That division.
We don’t sit there and say it stinks.
I’m not, I just can’t figure out like, what, what is the right time to give up on the 49er?
I know and I, I’m falling into this trap where I’m like, there’s come on, there’s still a 49er, they’re still gonna win that division.
You look up and it’s like, yeah, it’s like, it’s mid November under 500.
Like this was a bad loss for them.
A really bad loss, really, really bad loss.
They couldn’t put the game away and that it’s good for the Seahawks, but I think it’s more about the 49ers where this team we all kind of thought would be a super bowl contender is, is nowhere near it right now.
Maybe they can get there.
They still, I still think they have that ceiling somewhere, but at some point if you don’t show it, what does it matter?
And everybody talks about the injuries with the 49er and I get that, I do losing a Brandon Auk stinks and they didn’t have George K today.
But you know what, every NFL team has injuries like that.
Like the, every NFL team he plays mccaffrey Jennings.
Jennings is awesome.
Like John Jennings has played as well as you would expect Brand Auk to play, right?
Like this 49er team cannot close out games, they cannot win close games.
I think that’s part of what they are and at some point, yes, we have to let go of what we thought the 49er would be and judge him on what they actually are and what they actually are is a very flawed 500 team that’s looking like it’s having a bad super bowl hangover.
None of this game with the Seahawks beating the 49er actually made sense to me, but I do feel like I sit here and I say, ok, I keep finding reasons to fault Seattle for their inconsistency and I keep finding reasons to try and credit the 49ers and I’m done with it.
Like I, I’m, I’m done with the 49er.
Uh, look, it’s not that they’re a bad football team.
It’s just, they don’t have the Magic Pixie dust this year and without the magic Pixie dust, I don’t believe in them.
