As a personal trainer and health coach, I travel a lot. Here are some highlights from my most recent 48-hour stay in Toronto. I hope this list inspires you the next time you’re in the city.
Four Seasons Hotel Toronto
The combination of the beauty of the space and the professionalism of the staff at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto made my stay nothing short of exceptional.
In terms of amenities, the hotel’s gym features an impressive indoor pool, which is flanked by both a steam room and hot tub. Additionally, the fitness facilities on site are available to guests 24 hours per day. There is ample space available for all those interested in training throughout their stay, alongside an array of high-end equipment.
For those traveling with children, know that the amenities are open to all members of your family, and that the staff will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I was traveling with my daughter and, upon arrival, we found that she had been left a miniature version of our robes to be worn throughout her stay.
The hotel’s location is central to Toronto’s Yorkville area and I found that I was able to reach most of my destinations on foot. As a visitor, the added leisure of being able to venture into the neighbourhood without a specific itinerary in mind added to the overall sense of discovery of my short trip.
