(Reuters) – Airbus delivered 84 planes in November as the planemaker moved back towards end-year targets after a downturn over the summer.
Industry sources told Reuters this week deliveries rose sharply to above 80 in November, after engine maker CFM and Airbus reached a deal over short-term engine supplies last week.
The 643 deliveries year-to-date leave Airbus with 127 jets to deliver in December to reach its annual target of “around 770”, or about 107 deliveries to reach more conservative analyst expectations of 750.
