Wayne Rooney says he is weighing up his goalkeeping options after Conor Hazard’s return to full fitness.
The Northern Ireland goalkeeper was on the bench for the Pilgrims’ 2-1 loss at home to Swansea City on Tuesday, having missed three months after undergoing ankle surgery.
Dan Grimshaw has played every minute since, while short-term signing Marko Marosi has provided cover.
“He’s [Marosi] been fantastic for the group. His attitude to training has been fantastic, and it was tough to leave him out on Tuesday,” Rooney told BBC Radio Devon.
“He has been really good for us, for the group.
“But Conor’s come back into the squad. It’s a decision I have to make whether Conor plays or Grimmy plays.
“Grimmy obviously played the last game, and I don’t think he did much wrong in the game if I’m honest, but it’s good to have options.”
