Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United is well and truly up in the air.
The 27-year-old was recently dropped from the team ahead of the Manchester Derby under new boss Rubén Amorim, and the doubts surrounding his future grew ever stronger.
The forward has been at the club since the age of seven, bursting onto the scene from the academy in the 2016 campaign, scoring 138 goals in 426 appearances since that time.
But speaking in an interview with Henry Winter, the long-time Red Devil appeared to reveal that he is looking for a move away from Old Trafford.
“It’s disheartening to be left out of a Derby,” he said. “But it’s happened, we won the game so let’s move on.
“It’s disappointing but I’m also someone as I’ve got older I can deal with setbacks. What am I going to do about it? Sit there and cry about it. Or do my best the next time I’m available.
“For me, personally, I’m ready for a new challenge. When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United.”
Rashford is currently under contract at Manchester United through 2028.
