Air Canada has announced a significant expansion of its route network for Summer 2025, adding new destinations across Europe, the United States, and Asia. The airline will introduce several new seasonal services, including Montreal to Naples and Porto, Toronto to Prague, and Ottawa to London-Heathrow, marking the return of intercontinental flights from Canada’s capital.

The carrier plans to offer more than 100,000 weekly seats to 30 European and North African destinations during peak summer season. Notable additions include increased frequencies to Rome and Athens, offering up to three daily flights to each destination from Canada. Service between Toronto and Stockholm will return with up to four weekly flights, while Madrid connections will increase to daily service.

In the U.S. market, Air Canada will launch new routes from Vancouver to Nashville and Montreal to Cincinnati, while resuming Toronto to Jacksonville service. The airline will boost its transborder capacity to 160,000 weekly seats, adding extra frequencies to several U.S. cities including Boston, Tampa, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

The Pacific market will see the continuation of seasonal services to Seoul from Montreal and Osaka from Toronto, both operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

“Air Canada’s global network continues to be the bridge that brings the world closer,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning. The expansion reinforces Air Canada’s position as the largest carrier in the transborder market, offering more than 200 daily flights to over 45 U.S. destinations in Summer 2025.
