Air Force Men’s Basketball Will Travel To Canada For Cultural Engagement Tour – Air Force Academy Athletics

– The Air Force men’s basketball team will embark upon a 10-day trip to Canada from July 28-August 6 that includes elements of education, cultural experience and competition. The Falcons will play five games against local universities. 
 
During this trip, the Falcons will travel and play games across several parts of Canada, including Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.
 
Air Force is allowed 10 days of practice, beginning July 16th, to prepare for the foreign tour. “We are grateful to have this opportunity as a program,” head coach Joe Scott said. “To be able to experience different cultures, all while giving our team a chance to grow, prepare, and play on the court is valuable to our players and staff.” 
 
Highlights include trips to the CN Tower, a walking tour of downtown in Toronto, Mount Royal Park, Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal, Montreal Underground City, Montreal Chinatown, Olympic Stadium and a walking tour of Old Montreal in Montreal, Montmorency Falls, a walking tour of Old Quebec City and more.

The Falcons will play five games against universities across Canada. The team is scheduled to play on July 29th, 30th, August 1st, 3rd, and 4th.

This will mark the program’s first preseason trip abroad since the team went to British Columbia in 2007.
