Year in Review: Devastating wildfires in Jasper National Park
While Jasper continues its recovery from the devastating wildfires that engulfed a third of the renowned Rocky Mountain town, it remains open and welcoming to visitors during the ski season. The fires, one of the most significant weather events of 2024, forced the evacuation of 25,000 people and caused $880 million in insured losses. Despite this, Jasper’s spirit remains strong as it rebuilds and invites tourists to experience its natural beauty once again.
