Loft is opening 60 in-store shops at Hudson’s Bay locations.
Ann Tayor and sister brand Loft are returning to Canada.
The two women’s apparel retailers made their return through an agreement with Centric Brands LLC — with distribution through Canadian retail giant Hudson’s Bay. This marks the first time Ann Taylor and Loft have been in the Canadian market since 2020 when the last of their stores went dark.
The agreement calls for 90 “shop-in shop” concepts — 30 for Ann Taylor and 60 for Loft — that will reflect each brand’s unique look and feel. The in-store shops will be located in Hudson’s Bay locations across the country, beginning Sept. 24. Ann Taylor and Loft products will also be available online through Hudson’s Bay’s web site (TheBay.com).
“This partnership not only enhances Hudson’s Bay’s offerings, but also aligns with what our customers are looking for,” said Liz Rodbell, president and CEO, Hudson’s Bay. “These brands provide a blend of style and sophistication for women looking for versatility in their wardrobe, for both professional and social settings. As the retail landscape evolves, it’s crucial for retailers to adapt to customer preferences, and we’re confident that this collaboration will deliver against the demands of our shopper.”
