All eyes are on the Presidents Cup, where Team International and Team USA are tied at 5-5 as Saturday morning’s fourball matches are continuing. In the third round, Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim faced off against Keegan Bradley and Wyndham Clark. The golfers of Team International share the same last name, raising curiosity about whether they are brothers.
Well, they are not! Yes, it’s true that both of them are from South Korea and also show similar capabilities on golfing greens, they aren’t related by blood. However, both of them have been friends for a long time and share a brotherly bond. The Presidents Cup shared a video of Monday’s practice round on their Instagram. The video featured Si Woo Kim, Tom Kim, Sungjae Im, and Min Woo Lee having fun during the practice.
Tom Kim was dancing around the hole after landing a putt. Not only that, but they were also doing some random gestures to make it exciting. Si Woo Kim took this further and called Tom Kim “Tom Him,” when he was taking a shot. Both of them played together at the 2022 Presidents Cup as well in Charlotte, North Carolina, and enjoyed the tournament just like they are doing it right now.

Although the international team lost to the United States by 17.5 to 12.5 last time, Si Woo Kim was the top scorer of the event. Following that, in the 2022 Shriners Children’s Open, Si Woo Kim revealed that he still talks about the Presidents Cup with Tom Kim. “We still talk about the Presidents Cup, like some holes. Then I finish the hole, and Tom came over on 18 and I said, If you make that one, I got to ask you to go throw the hat like the last hole Saturday,” as revealed on Golf Digest.

Tom Kim indeed enjoys his time with Si Woo Kim; however, he isn’t the only one with whom Tom Kim shares a brotherly bond.
Scottie Scheffler is also Tom Kim’s brother on the greens
Scottie Scheffler and Tom Kim both share their birthdays, June 21. Last year, when they celebrated their birthday together, Kim was excited and shared a post on his Instagram. He was looking at the cake with anticipation; meanwhile, Scottie Scheffler had a big smile on his face. Kim captioned the post saying, “21st birthday and sharing it on the same day with one of my closest friends, big bro.” He also appreciated Scheffler a lot in that post, calling him “pretty much almost everything.”

Not only that, Scottie Scheffler even consoled his brother on greens after Kim was brought to tears at the Paris Olympics. At the Presidents Cup, there were some concerns that the intense competition might have affected their relationship, but it didn’t. It happened when Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley were playing against Sungjae Im and Tom Kim, and Scheffler landed a crucial birdie putt on 7th Hole and yelled, “What was that?” However, that was just in the heat of the moment, as Scheffler is one of the fiercest competitors on the greens.
