The audience was captivated by the stories of these women—stories of perseverance, passion, and purpose. They are living proof that dreams are achievable and that women’s contributions are critical to a thriving, equitable society. The recipients spoke from the heart, sharing their journeys and the challenges they overcame. Their words resonated deeply, reminding everyone present of the power of believing in oneself and the impact of a supportive community.  Â
Adding to the night success was the star-studded guest list. Hosted by Meredith Shaw and Tammie Sutherland from Breakfast Television, model Coco Rocha, Juno Award-winning artist Keshia ChantĂ© and Ashley Callingbull, the first Indigenous woman to hold the title of Miss Universe Canada (she was crowned in 2024), were all in attendance. MP Rechie Valdez and MPP Charmaine Williams also were on hand to emphasize the importance of women’s voices in every field.Â
One of the most magical moments of the evening was a performance by Voices Rock Medicine, a choir composed entirely of women doctors. Their performance served as a reminder of the multifaceted strengths of women who excel not only in their professions but also in their commitments to their passions and communities. Their voices resonated with everyone present, bringing many to tears and adding a beautiful depth to the evening’s celebration.
