Contiki Unveils New European and Peruvian Itineraries, Exclusive Launch Deal

Contiki, the
renowned travel brand catering to 18-35-year-olds, has announced the launch of
its most extensive collection of European
trips in over 60 years, along with two new budget-friendly adventures in Peru.

The tour company
is introducing a set of 10 new itineraries, including its inaugural venture
into Albania and extending its reach to popular destinations across Athens,
Egypt,
England,
France,
Morocco,
Switzerland
and Rome.
To celebrate the September 10 launch, Contiki is running a special promotion
wherein the first 10 travelers to book select departures will receive a 50
percent discount, potentially saving up to $1,400.

“We’ve been leading travel experiences in Europe for over 60 years, and
it’s a region that holds a special place in Contiki’s history and heart,” said Contiki’s
CEO, Adam Armstrong. “This new collection of trips is about evolving with our

Among the new
European itineraries is the eight-day ‘Albania Beaches & Peaks’ trip, which
highlights Albania’s emerging travel appeal, as evidenced by its recent ranking
among the top three trending destinations by MasterCard Economics
Institute. This journey
includes an exploration of the country’s varied features, from the pristine white-sand beaches and brilliant turquoise waters of
the Albanian Riviera to hikes in Valbona National Park. Itinerary highlights
include a scenic cruise over Lake Komani, cable car rides and historical
architecture tours in Tirana,
and such cultural experiences as
a traditional Iso-Polyphony singing performance and tasting the local cuisine
at an agro-tourism farm.

Other new itineraries throughout Europe include destinations like Austria,

Highlights of the top new European trips include: 

  • Ancient
    Wonders: Rome, Athens, Cairo – A 10-day exploration of three ancient
    civilizations, featuring a visit to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, guided

    and an Italian cooking class.
  • France
    in a Week – A seven-day adventure through France, showcasing charming chateaus,
    champagne houses, artisanal perfumeries, delightful patisseries, and historic Normandy D-Day beaches.
  • Barcelona,
    Ibiza & Mallorca – A journey through Spain’s coastal islands, featuring

Contiki is also
expanding its Latin America collection with two new budget-friendly trips to
Peru: ‘Lima to Machu Picchu Road Trip’ and ‘Peru: Lima to Huaraz.’ Both journeys include English- and Spanish-speaking Trip Managers, quality hostel accommodations,
internal transport and comfortable sleeper coaches.

  • Lima
    to Machu Picchu Road Trip – This 11-day journey takes guests on the Inca Trail
    to Machu Picchu with sand buggy rides in Huacachina, aerial views of the Nazca
    Lines, boat tours of the Ballestas Islands, cultural experiences at Lake
    Titicaca and a visit to a vineyard in Pisco.
  • Peru: Lima to
    Huaraz – This six-day trip provides an extraordinary chance to explore the lesser-known
    city of Huaraz and features hikes to one of the last tropical glaciers in South
