Penybont 2-1 The New Saints: League leaders Penybont maintained their unbeaten start to the 2024-25 Cymru Premier season with a stunning victory over reigning champions The New Saints. Clayton Green put the hosts ahead after just 13 minutes, although Adam Wilson equalised on the stroke of half-time. But Chris Venables’ late header ensured the Saints tasted defeat in the league for the first time since February 2023.
Bala Town 2-2 Newtown: Bala came from two goals behind to earn a draw with Newtown. Aaron Williams and Jason Oswell put the Robins in command early on before Aeron Edwards gave Bala hope in the final stages of the first-half. And Nathan Peate scored 10 minutes from time to earn the home side a point.
Aberystwyth Town 0-3 Haverfordwest County: Haverfordwest rose to third in the table courtesy of a convincing win at Aberystwyth. Ricky Watts and Ben Ahmun both netted in the space of six second-half minutes, with Louis Bradford then turning into his own net as County ended their three-game losing run in style.

Cardiff Met 2-1 Connah’s Quay: Cardiff Met strengthened their grip on second place with a hard-fought win over Connah’s Quay in the Welsh capital. Met went ahead through Eliot Evans after just seven minutes, with Elliott Dugan levelling proceedings for Billy Paynter’s men midway through the first-half. But Evans notched his second of the afternoon shortly after half-time to earn the Archers their fifth league win of the campaign.
Briton Ferry Llansawel 1-1 Flint Town United: Flint claimed their first point of the season as they came from behind to draw with fellow newly-promoted side Briton Ferry. Elliot Reeves put the Silkmen ahead in the 67th minute, but Kian Jenkins equalised seven minutes later to ensure the contest ended level – with Flint stretching their unbeaten league run to three games.
Barry Town United 1-1 Caernarfon Town: Jenner Park played host to a score draw as Barry and Caernarfon could not be separated. Louis Lloyd fired the Canaries ahead early on, only for Sam Snaith to equalise a minute later as the points were shared.
