Dielectric signs Pippin for Canada

Must read

Antenna maker Dielectric has a new Canadian distribution partner. Pippin Technical Service will rep Dielectric for the western and northern Canada provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan and Yukon.

According to the announcement PTS President and CEO Tyler Everitt sees regional activity consisting of FM equipment replacement along with digital TV expansion. “We are actively working on some of these projects and have more on the horizon. What makes Dielectric innovative is how they find new ways of applying RF technology in both TV and radio, which has long been a somewhat static part of the broadcast industry. The physics haven’t changed, but the opportunities have certainly evolved,” he said.

Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and founded in 1980, Pippin “has evolved from an RF specialist to a turnkey service provider over its nearly 45 years in business. The company today offers a full range of systems design, integration and engineering services for the broadcast, telecommunications and AV industries.”

Dielectric International Sales Manager Daniel Bizet said, “Their [Pippin] impressive reach will take the Dielectric brand into some of the further reaches of the country, while their strong reputation will bring us closer to more broadcasters throughout western Canada.”
