Dylan Bole Named Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach – Ottawa University

OTTAWA, Kan. – Ottawa University Director of Athletics Janet Eaton-Smith is pleased to announce the hiring of Dylan Bole as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach.

“We are excited to have Dylan join the OU family,” said Eaton-Smith. “His energy and spirit for the sport of tennis and experience coaching at the junior and collegiate level will help him continue to grow both our men’s and women’s tennis programs.”  

Before joining the Braves, Bole was a tennis coach at the Birmingham Racquet Club and Birmingham Country Club. He helped with the junior tennis program and adult group lessons. At Rochester Christian University, Bole was an adviser for Shield Media, RCU’s independent student media, and a volunteer cross country and track and field coach. 

“I’m excited about the opportunity that the Ottawa University administration has given me to lead the Braves tennis program,” said Bole. “I look forward to continuing Ottawa University’s commitment to academic and athletic excellence.”

Bole was also a tennis coach at Placement Tennis for 10 years and worked for Shield Media and GM Financial. He has lived in England and Australia.

Bole graduated from Rochester College with a degree in mass communication and a journalism track. He is working on his masters from Rochester Christian University in sports leadership.

His start date of Sept. 4.
