The television personality shares two children with ex-husband Armie Hammer
Elizabeth Chambers is back in Los Angeles.
The Bird Bakery founder, 42, attended PEOPLE’s 50th birthday party on Friday, Sept. 13, marking her first major event since moving back to L.A. from Grand Cayman. She donned a black off-the-shoulder shirt and miniskirt for the occasion, styling her hair in a half-up, half-down fashion.
Chambers had been living in the Cayman Islands since the COVID-19 pandemic.
In late August, the TV personality shared on her Instagram Stories that she was moving for the fifth time in five years. She gave fans a glimpse into the process of packing up her home with her daughter Harper, 9, and son Ford, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Armie Hammer.
A source told PEOPLE that the plan was always for Chambers and her family to return to California.
Chambers and Hammer, who married in 2010, announced their split in July 2020. Days after their announcement, Chambers filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized in June 2023.
In 2021, the year after Chambers and Hammer, 38, split, the Social Network actor was accused of rape, physical abuse and cannibalistic fantasies, accusations which Hammer denied at the time.
Chambers appeared in season 1 of the reality series Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise, which shot in the spring of 2023. When the show aired in April 2024, Chambers called her “very public” divorce from Hammer “absolute hell.”

“I moved here with my husband and children three years ago. But things have changed since then,” Chambers said on the reality TV program. “The ‘Cayman Curse’ is when a couple moves to the island together and then they end up separating or divorcing — and it tracks.”
“A lot of the trauma that I have experienced in the last two years is behind me,” she said elsewhere during the show. “And now I think I’m very much at a place where I’m ready for a fresh start on the island.”
Chambers has also been vocal about her support for Hammer amid his recovery. “All I’ve ever wanted is for him to be sober, healthy and happy. And he is that,” she told Elle in February 2023.
“He’s really present when he’s with the kids, and that’s all I can hope for,” she added. “All you want is for your children to have two solid parents, right? That’s always the goal, so anything I can do to support that, I will.”

A source told PEOPLE in June that Chambers and Hammer are focused on co-parenting their kids following their split.
“While she’s been rebuilding her life and focusing on her own passions, she also wants what’s best for the kids and has been supportive of Armie,” the source said at the time.
