For me, someone who has always preferred solo workouts, stepping into an Orangetheory Fitness class felt both exciting and intimidating. But with its reputation for high-energy sessions and heart-rate monitoring, I was ready to challenge myself and see what the hype is all about—literally everyone I know is talking about it!
As I walked into the vibrant studio, bright orange accents and upbeat music set the tone for what was to come. The staff were welcoming, immediately putting me at ease, and explained the concept of the workout, which is led by certified coaches who deliver a science-backed, heart-rate-based workout.
