Let’s take a look at this week’s waiver wire connections presented by spectrum every week.
Dalton and I share our large medium and small priority players on the waiver wire.
Dalton, give me your players, people need to add this week.
My small priority is Drake May.
He committed three turnovers during his NFL debut, but he also threw three touchdowns and led New England in rushing.
The Patriots have a bad offensive line and limited weapons, but May was a huge runner in college and he’s on the Fantasy radar because of it.
The rookie gets a Jacksonville defense this week that’s allowed an NFL high 14 touchdown passes and the most fantasy points to quarterback Drake May is fun and he’s available in 94% in the Yahoo Leagues.
My medium pickup is Sean Tucker who just finishes the top overall Fantasy score in week six despite being owned in just 1% of Yahoo Leagues.
Tucker split carries evenly and certainly needs to be added in Fantasy Leagues after that performance.
It’s possible.
It turns into a three headed monster once Rashad White returns, but there’s upside here on a Bucks offense averaging the second most points in the league.
Finally, my large priority pickup is Isaac Garn Jordan Mason is day to day with a short holder sprain.
Now Patrick Taylor will see work if Mason misses time, but Garn is an elite athlete with a top 40 speed and a Kyle Shanahan offense.
So there’s a massive fantasy potential.
I will start with a new England Patriots player in my small priority.
Uh here with Demario Douglas, Demario Pop Douglas at 7% rostered in Yahoo Leagues.
Look, I don’t know that this guy has a super high ceiling, but he’s a pretty good football player.
He’s a little bit of a man coverage beating slot receiver the Jacksonville Jaguars play more man coverage than anybody.
They’re a week seven opponent and they’re not very good at it.
My medium priority player is Chargers rookie running back.
Kimani Vidal at only 11% rostered in Yahoo leagues.
Vidal’s got some juice and now that Gus Edwards is on the shelf, he’s on Ir his opportunity should only continue to grow.
He played 18 snaps to a whopping 55 for JK Dobbins but looked explosive when he got the ball four carries.
He also ran nine routes to 10 for JK Dobbins and we saw the explosion on the passing game for Kimani Vidal.
My large priority player, Juju Smith Schuster, he’s 32% roster which is higher than many of the other guys we’ve thrown out here but 32% roster is simply too low for who is Patrick Mahomes as number one receiver.
I never thought I’d be hyping up Juju Smith Schuster in the year 2024.
But the guys coming out of week five, the game before the buy with a 20.5% target here, eight targets against the New Orleans Saints on only 26 routes he’s trusted he can run the exact same routes that Rashi Rice runs.
