Finding a consistent flex play week in and week out is tough, but sometimes, a flex play falls into your lap thanks to real-life circumstances.

Take Calvin Ridley, for instance. Ridley’s WR companion, DeAndre Hopkins, has since been traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Mason Rudolph, who started Week 8 over an injured Will Levis, might just keep the job outright.

The result in Week 8? Fifteen targets, 10 catches, 143 yards. That’s the stuff flex dreams are made of.

Admittedly, this was a plus matchup for Ridley as the Titans were chasing the game against the Lions, but hey, we know who is the alpha of this passing game with Hopkins out of town.
