Is Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones one of the most underrated fantasy RBs in the league? Heading into Week 9, it would appear that the answer is a firm “yes.”

Though he’s coming off a scoreless outing where he averaged just 3.1 yards per attempt, it’s difficult to argue Jones’ upside on a week-to-week basis in the Vikings offense with a very firm grasp on the RB1 role. In two games since returning from a hip injury that kept him out of Week 5, Jones played 72% and 92% of offensive snaps, respectively, totaling 95+ scrimmage yards in both. Meanwhile, not a single other running back earned a carry in the offense in Week 8.

Jones has been efficient with his opportunities this year and has proven to have a very safe floor, with 95 or more scrimmage yards in all but two games this year — a fantasy manager’s dream.
