Emmanuel-Thomas joined Arsenal at the age of eight, and he spent 13 years with the club, largely playing for the Gunners’ academy. He won the FA Youth Cup and the Premier Academy League with Arsenal in 2008/09.

The striker went on to make five appearances for the Arsenal first team, including one in the Premier League, but after loans to Blackpool, Doncaster Rovers, and Cardiff City, he ultimately left on a permanent deal to join Ipswich Town.

Most recently, Emmanuel-Thomas signed a six-month contract with Scottish side Greenock Morton.
