Yahoo Sports’ Jason Fitz talks with 49ers TE George Kittle about the growth of QB Brock Purdy and why he’s becoming a great QB. Kittle joins Yahoo Sports on behalf of Little Caesars Pizza.

Um I, well, I think you can look at last year like all the stats and stuff like that, you know, he’s top five, top 10 in absolutely every statistical category.
I’m pretty sure about that.
Um And then besides that, you know, I can give you like the answer, you know, he’s consistent.
He shows up every single day, he’s confident, you know, he, he works really hard.
Uh, but, you know, the things that I think he does a really good job of, you know, he commands the huddle, um he commands the line of scrimmage, he gets on guys for their routes.
He’s always talking to ro receivers, tight ends, running backs, fullbacks singular because it’s just juice out there.
But um, he’s always talking to us about our routes, how he wants them to be or if we thought, you know, you know, what were our thoughts?
Why we ran those routes the way that we did it?
And, you know, also like, it’s fun to see him sap once in a while out in football go, hey, what are you doing?
Like that’s not what you’re supposed to do out there.
So seeing him do that stuff is really fun and I think he just growing the confidence with this offense.
