The Giants will officially have their starting RT Jermaine Eluemunor out there for their Monday night meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Eluemunor came into the matchup listed as questionable after missing the final two days of practice with a hip injury, but he insisted during the week that he’d be able to play, and now he is officially active.
Having Eluemunor healthy is certainly a huge boost for Big Blue’s offensive line as they look to slow down DPOY-candidate T.J. Watt and the high-flying Steelers defense.
While the veteran tackle will be able to get out there, New York will be without two key pieces on the other side of the ball, as cornerbacks Adoree’ Jackson (neck) and Cor’Dale Flott (groin) will remain sidelined in this one.
Additionally, punter Jamie Gillian will miss his third straight contest due to a hamstring injury.
On the other side of things, Justin Fields will be used as Pittsburgh’s emergency quarterback this week as he continues healing up from a lingering hamstring issue of his own.
