Andre Gray has left Championship strugglers Plymouth Argyle after his short-term contract came to an end.
The 33-year-old moved to Home Park as a free agent in October after leaving Saudi Arabian side Al-Riyadh in the summer.
He went on to score three goals in 13 appearances, which included five starts.
The former Burnley, Brentford and Luton Town forward will be best remembered by Argyle fans for the two goals he scored in the 2-2 draw with another of his former clubs Watford.
Having fired in an excellent volley to draw the sides level at 1-1 he curled in an effort from the corner of the penalty area deep in second-half stoppage time to seal a point in the match on 22 November.
His departure comes as Ibrahim Cissoko returns to fitness, while Muhamed Tijani, who he replaced, is also due back within the next month.
Former Argyle boss Wayne Rooney had been looking for more attacking firepower before leaving the club earlier this week, with Gray’s wages now free to be used elsewhere on the squad during this month’s transfer window.
