What’s been recalled: Certain Pizza Flavoured Chicken Nuggets. The recalling company is Sofina Foods Inc.

The chicken recall has impacted Loblaw grocery (i.e. Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, Zehrs).

Why has the product been recalled: The nuggets have been recalled after pieces of plastic were found. The recall didn’t elaborate on the specifics of what plastic was identified or if it was specifically found inside the food.

What to do: Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

What’s been recalled: Health Canada has recalled Scent-A-Way Continuous Spray products recalled due to improper labelling.

This recall involves Scent-A-Way — Odor Control MAX — Continuous Spray (15.5 fl. oz) in Odorless and Fresh Earth versions, sold in yellow containers. The time period when they were sold in Canada is not known. The amount of the product sold is also not known.

Why have the products been recalled: Health Canada says the recalled products do not have the proper consumer chemical labelling as required. The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and “lead to serious illness or injury.” As of Sept. 25, Health Canada says the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
