Exeter’s on-loan Brighton midfielder Kamari Doyle says he “wants to show the world” what he can do, after scoring on his full debut during City’s 2-0 win at Bolton.
Doyle, 19, waited just 34 minutes to curl a stunning free-kick into the top right corner of Nathan Baxter‘s goal, a strike which proved enough to clinch all three points for Gary Caldwell’s side.
Doyle told BBC Radio Devon: “It was a dream start, but the most important thing was getting the three points.
“I’ve been working on [free-kick technique] over the years, with both feet, but I need to keep going so it pays off in the future.”
The victory was the Grecians’ second of the League One campaign, a level which Doyle said has been “a step-up”.
“This is my first real experience of being in the first team dressing room consistently, and I’m enjoying it,” he added.
“It’s a step up from the [Brighton] under-21s and hopefully it’ll be a good test and learning curve for me.
Speaking about what he hopes to achieve in his season-long loan, Doyle said he wants to continue playing in the first team.
“I want to contribute to the team and hopefully we can do something amazing,” he said.
“I want as many minutes as possible so I can show the world what I can do, but also help the team progress and get us up the table.”
