In the final days of the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. Although a deal didn’t materialize, recent reports suggest the Ligue 1 club are still keen on pursuing the Nigerian standout.
Moreover, PSG are among several clubs in the competition to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, with the 25-year-old continuing to shine in the Bundesliga this season.
In October, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Lookman is open to a new challenge, fueling rumors of a possible move during the winter transfer window.
At the same time, The Mirror highlighted that PSG scouts were present to watch Marmoush in action during Frankfurt’s UEFA Europa League game against Midtjylland.
Arsenal urged to pursue two PSG attacking transfer targets
If Arsenal are looking for more attacking options in January, they might want to take a tip from club legend Ian Wright. He believes Marmoush or Lookman would both be excellent additions for the Gunners.
“There are two players I would probably go for,” Wright said on his “Wrighty’s House” podcast when he asked which signings could kickstart Arsenal’s season (h/t The Mirror). “I would like people to have a look at Omar Marmoush and Ademola Lookman at Atalanta.”
This season, Lookman has recorded 11 goals and five assists in 19 appearances across all competitions for Atalanta. On the other hand, Marmoush has scored 18 goals and recorded 12 assists in 23 appearances across all competitions this 2024-25 season for Frankfurt.
