India attracts businesses from Canada & Ireland while expanding to Dubai, MEA, Sweden & Malaysia

Irish acute-care aerosol drug delivery in India

Aergon, an Ireland-based company in acute-care aerosol drug delivery signed an MoU with the Indian Association of Respiratory Care (IARC) to enhance the healthcare infrastructure respiratory care in India. The partnership marks a significant milestone in the mutual effort of both the entities deliver high-quality respiratory care services.

Aerogen entered the Indian market in 2019 with the support of Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government organization responsible for promoting Irish enterprises globally. As part of this MoU leverage Aerogen’s advanced drug delivery systems to ensure higher-quality care in critical settings, improving patient outcomes and respiratory care services across the IARC network and engagements with over 500 Respiratory Therapists.

Debabrata Bhowmick, Commercial Director, Aerogen India, emphasized, “This partnership is pivotal in fostering innovation in respiratory care education and enhancing patient outcomes in India. By merging Aerogen’s technology with IARC’s expertise, we are setting new standards in care while empowering healthcare professionals with the tools and knowledge to excel.”

Canadian alopecia specialist coming to Indian market

Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Indian CDMO, tied up with Triple Hair Group, a Canadian company specializing in the development of innovative treatments for androgenic alopecia, for the exclusive licensing of their patented topical formulation for the Indian market. This advanced formulation combines three unique medicaments to combat alopecia, a common condition affecting millions in India and worldwide.

Advanced UAV manufacturer partners with Dubai company to tap UAV market in MEA

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) solutions provider SKYBER Aerospace, has partnered with Sibia Technologies, headquartered out of Dubai, for the sales and services of their UAV products in the Middle East and Africa. This partnership aligns with the rapidly growing demand for UAV technologies in the Defense as well as commercial segments in the MEA region. The multi-year partnership is structured to cover multiple aspects of the UAV industry, including product sales, service and maintenance, training and operational support and technology integration.

With an expected market size of US$5.3 billion by 2029, the region presents vast opportunities in both government and commercial sectors. “Countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and parts of Africa are expected to be significant consumers of UAV technology due to their increasing Defense budgets, need for border security, and investments in modern technology for commercial sectors. The partnership between SKYBER Aerospace and Sibia Technologies represents a significant step towards tapping into the burgeoning UAV market in the Middle East and Africa,” said Joseph George, co-founder and CEO, SKYBER Aerospace.

Subsidiary of Indian biofuels company extends to Sweden

Germany-based proweps envirotec GmbH, a subsidiary of leading biofuels company GPS Renewables, executed an order for an extension of its existing Anaerobic Digestion Plant in Västerås, Sweden.

The bioCNG plant, with uninterrupted operations for 15 years, can process up to 48,000 tons of food waste annually. The additional extension enhances the plant’s ability to process organic waste by incorporating a liquid organic waste reception system. Proweps has designed, provided and integrated the new waste reception system, including tanks, stirrers, valves, and instrumentation, into the existing system.

Currently proweps is involved in several new engineering projects in Poland, Kuwait, Israel and provides different engineering services for industrial scale anaerobic digestion plants. The new projects include feedstocks such as agricultural and industrial organic waste and municipal solid waste. Proweps supports GPSR also extensively in the design and engineering of compressed biogas plants in India.

Indian business payments app at SDEC 2024 to empower Malaysian SMEs

PayMate, a Mumbai based digital B2B payments platform, launched its innovative Business Payments App at Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Conference (SDEC) 2024 SDEC 2024, a key event organized by the Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec). This partnership highlights PayMate’s collaboration with SIDEC, a subsidiary of Invest Selangor Berhad, to support Malaysian SMEs in optimizing working capital and driving economic growth.

The app was launched in the presence of Chief Minister of Selangor, YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari. The app allows SMEs to optimize cash flow and better utilize their working capital using commercial and retail credit cards, providing up to 55 days of interest-free credit.
